Anglian Water Services Limited (AWS)
- AWS is the principal subsidiary of Anglian Water Group Limited.
- It is a private company limited by shares and manages water and water recycling networks, serving nearly seven million customers.
- AWS operates under a covenanted and ring-fenced debt structure established in 2002 to protect customers and bondholders from risks associated with non-regulated companies within the group (annual-integrated-report) .
Parent and Holding Companies
- Anglian Water Group Limited (AWG): The ultimate parent company, acquired by investors in 2006, registered in Jersey but tax resident in the UK.
- AWG Parent Co Limited and AWG Group Limited: Holding companies set up when AWG was a listed group. Both are UK registered and tax resident.
- Osprey Holdco Limited: Issues debt held by shareholders proportionate to their shareholdings, with annual interest payments (annual-integrated-report).
Financing and Investment Companies
- Aigrette Financing Limited, Osprey Investco Limited, and Osprey Acquisitions Limited: These entities and their subsidiaries have borrowed funds externally to increase equity investment in AWS during the AMP7 period.
- Anglian Water Services Financing Plc: This company raises funds to support investments in AWS (annual-integrated-report).
